QAD Accounts and Partnership Manager
Shirley Schmidt is the QAD Accounts and Partnership Manager for Freedom Technologies. Freedom Technologies, headquartered in Brighton, Michigan, is a QAD Alliance Partner offering a complete factory floor solution integrated with all releases of QAD. Prior to joining Freedom Shirley worked with other QAD alliance partners and directly for QAD where she invested five years. She has been working in software applications for the manufacturing industry for fifteen years and during that time has enjoyed being involved in the developments in software technology that have changed the direction of manufacturing on the shop floor. As an industry expert she has presented on EDI, Data Collection, 2D Barcodes, Error Proofing and Direct Park Marking to companies and groups across North America. Shirley received her BA and Associates Degree in Business from Davenport University, is a past member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), a Board Member of Mfg/Pro Midwest Users Group, and a graduate of both the Dale Carnegie Human Relations and Sales Courses.
