DPM Shield™ is an ultra clear shield, applied over direct part marks (DPM). A strong barrier to chemicals, fluids and abrasion, DPM Shield™ has been engineered specifically to protect and enhance direct part marked codes. 
 
DPM Shield™ enhances the contrast of DPM codes facilitating the reading of low contrast marks. DPM Shield™ protects the code from some of the most destructive agents that degrade codes and limit long term readability. Some of the key protection elements are:

DPM Shield™ has been tested in direct and angled sandblasting using black shot #20 sharp blasting media.  Under direct and angular blasting, DPM Shield™ outlasted and outperformed all other challengers including:
