Medical Devices & Equipment demand ID that is durable and pure.  When lives are at stake, the sterility of an operating area cannot be compromised by equipment which can act as a carrier to disease and contaminates.  Often times, this requirement must be maintained by sterilizing devices and equipment.

Sterilization of devices and equipment can be achieved in various methods; autoclaving / heat, chemical sterilization or radiation.
