Aircraft have special demands for every material used, no matter what the function. Due to the nature of aircraft, safety is paramount and products must exhibit extremely low flammability, low toxicity and little to no offgassing. The materials must not contribute negatively to the re-circulated air environment nor become a contributor to fire toxicity or propogation, should a fire occur.

For military use, Covert Defense ID™ is also a wise choice due to its chemical resistance, stability in radiation and suitability for temperatures in high heat or extreme cold.
