The Freedom Warehouse Management System (WMS) module is an extension of the data collection, transactional reporting, traceability, label printing, UID and RFID processing capabilities that exist within ID ADVANTAGE™.  Our WMS module focuses on reporting activity as it occurs on the shop floor, providing valuable insight to inventory. The ID ADVANTAGE™ WMS can track items being received, raw inventory, transfers, shipping, picking, WIP, and Finish Goods, to name a few.

 

The identification is provided by assigning and printing a label with a unique serial number for each discrete unit of inventory.  The identification utilizes serialized data codes (1D, 2D, UID).  These data codes can represent individual items, a container or a pallet.  Information related to each serial number is maintained in the WMS database and can be accessed at any time for reporting or processing requirements.  Through the use of handheld scanners and wireless capabilities, management can have “real time” information available to them as transactions occur.  If wireless is unavailable, ID ADVANTAGE™ stores the information in a batch mode, on the handheld, until the information can be downloaded to the database.
